WhiskyFest - Testimonials
    Reviews: WhiskyFest New York

From Attendees:
WhiskyFest New York 2009

Whisky Fest was a great event again this year. This is always a highlight of the U.S. whiskey calendar every year for twelve years running. We would like to thank everyone involved in making Whisky Fest work. The food was great and the atmosphere was friendlier than ever before. Thanks especially to John Hansell and his entire staff at Malt Advocate for organizing this event. We can’t wait until next year!
Matt & Richard

The phrase "WhiskyFest" seems somehow redundant: like ExtraFunHappyTime, or CrispyFriedGutbuster. And yet, as far as large-scale pouring events go, they simply don't get much more festive.

Great job with everything. I didn't see a single person there who didn't have a spectacular time.
LW

The best event I have ever attended…

WhiskyFest was a blast.

I really enjoyed Whiskeyfest and will be there again next year.

ET

It was our first time at WhiskyFest and we had no idea of what to expect; we assumed many many whiskeys and maybe some water tables for hydration. What we experienced, however was far more impressive than either of us had imagined! the diversity of the whiskeys and the education and history that went along with it were so interesting and informative. WhiskeyFest gave us an opportunity to find and discover new whiskeys that we enjoy and also learn about the flavors and notes that we didn’t. Thank you so much for putting on such a great, informative, interesting and fun event!

My group, (me plus ten other guys) took a limo up for the Fest and enjoyed it very much. The spirits were quite good, the food was great, and the atmosphere wonderful.

After having 4 years of conflicting commitments, I was finally able to attend WhiskyFest which exceeded my expectations. Not only was it a unique experience to have such a vast variety of Whisky at one's fingertips, it was equally unique to have access to such knowledgeable people.

Really enjoyed the event and think you folks did a wonderful job. I had never been to anything quite like this in my life and would suggest that if i cant make it next year and beyond, it better be for a real good reason. Great fun, Great time, well run, plenty of everything for everyone. Cheers.

WhiskyFest NY is a hard event to improve on. Good food, free nosing glass, large selection of distillers. This year was my first visit to WhiskyFest, and I plan on going again next year. Thanks!
Chris Potter

Overall I had a lot of fun, learned much about whisky and whisky-making, and really enjoyed myself. Hope to do it again next year.

Everything was just perfect. Food was great, traffic flow on the floor was fine. You folks put on a class event!

From the Press:
WhiskyFest New York (November): Where I learned that there is no such thing as too much whisk(e)y. Why can’t every day be WhiskyFest?

WhiskyFest San Francisco was a wonderful event. It was filled with friendly (if at points sometimes strange) whisky fans, fantastic drinks, and some pretty amazing folks from the distilleries.

“Every year at WhiskyFest I get an informative and delightful two-hour tutorial on the newest products and trends in the spirits world. It’s extremely useful.”
