Dave Broom Dave Broom was born in Glasgow (Scotland) and has spent his whole working life in the drinks trade. He's been writing about whisky and other ardent spirits for 21 years. A four-time winner of the Glenfiddich award for his writing, he spends as much of his time travelling, talking and teaching as he does scribing. He now lives on the south coast of England with his wife & daughter. If you were to buy him a drink, best make it a Manhattan.
